Developed in 1978, the MUSHROOM used carefully and consistently in early training will almost guarantee a competent pommel horse worker in the years to come. We are proud to announce the introduction of the newest MUSHROOM model. The Basic MUSHROOM head is constructed of 100% self skinning foam, which will help prevent microtrauma to the gymnast's wrists and elbows. The working surface is textured to provide a non-slip surface. The MUSHROOM base is a white high density polyethylene plastic and has hand cut outs for easy portability. The base stands 15" tall. The MUSHROOM head is 24" in diameter as specified for USAG competition. The 5" tall MUSHROOM head attaches easily to the base with a tightening knob or can be used separately from the base for floor circles. The total height of the MUSHROOM and base is 20" and the weight is 25 lbs.

This versatile trainer features 3 handle placement locations: center and both ends (regulation width apart). Customize yours for the skill you are working on. The Colt is light enough to be easily moved (40 pounds without pommel handles). It’s a super trainer for use in the gym or at home, and the ideal apparatus for introducing or perfecting most Pommel skills for athletes at all skill levels, including Special Olympic Programs. Also great for building and maintaining aerobic and strength fitness.

Liquid Chalk

Details

This is normal gymnastic chalk (Magnesium Carbonate) and works the same as block chalk, only better. It leaves no residue and creates no dust while lasting several turns. The number of turns an athlete can take will depend on the number of skills they are doing and their level. Higher level athletes doing full routines will probably get around 3-4 turns per application. Lower level athletes doing only 1-2 skills will get considerably more turns.

There will be an adjustment period as athletes get used to the new way to apply this product. But once athletes are accustomed to Liquid Chalk, they will love it and see the advantages it offers. Simply squirt on a desired amount, spread evenly. DO NOT RUB IN and allow to dry. It will dry into a white film on the feet of hands/grips. Use equipment like normal.

This product also works great on Vault, Beam, Rings, Pommel Horse & P-Bars. To Chalk the bars, apply liquid chalk to a sponge and wipe on the rails.

FIRST USE INSTRUCTIONS: The amount applied will have to be determined by the athletes preferences after some experimenting with the product. We recommend trying a small amount, about the size of a dime and work your way up till you find the amount that works best for each athlete.

This product does take 1-2 minutes (depending on amount applied) to air dry. Waving your hands or using a small fan will greatly decrease the drying time to between 10-20 seconds.

This product will wash off with regular soap and water but may take a couple times since it is designed to adhere to the hands without rubbing or sweating off. This product contains Isopropyl Alcohol, so it does have anti-bacterial properties.

Liquid Chalk is fully USAG, FIG and NCAA compliant; endorsed by leading coaches, gym owners and world-class athletes. It's also 100% biodegradable.
