Floors - The Things You Need to Know
There
are many types of Dance Floors available. If you are considering
the purchase of one, there is some basic information you need
to know to make the right decision as to what type floor you
will need. The critical question is 'How will your floor be
used?' The American Gym is proud to offer Rosco dance floors.
They are the clear leader in dance floors in the United States.
Rosco offers a full range of products for any dance application.
This rolled flooring is what used to be known as 'Marly' or
'Marley' Floors. They have become more specialized over the
years.
While
all the dance floors may be used for ballet, modern or jazz
dancing, only certain ones (Adagio
and Arabesque) are ideal for
tap or Flamenco. Touring
companies have special needs that are filled by Dance
Floor. If permanent installation is of primary concern,
you may want to consider the dimensionally stable Adagio
or Arabesque. All of these are
constructed of vinyl with a variety of surface treatments
to provide the ideal skid resistance and exceptional wear
for your applicatiion. All floors are available in black and
grey, but colors and prices vary from floor to floor. We would
be happy to provide samples of any of these floor types for
you to consider.
